A business relationship that’s worked for over 20 years
The Anglo-Indian Australasian Association of Victoria provides a range of services for its members. These include social activities such as day trips, tours and other events, as well as access to aged care for its older members. Since its establishment in 1971, membership has increased to over 1,000 people.
For more than 20 years, Victorian Touring Coaches has been a key service partner of the Anglo-Indian Australasian Association of Victoria, working with them to help deliver many of the day trip and tour services to members each year. Founder and President, Rodney Almeida believes it’s a very effective partnership because Victorian Touring Coaches understands their requirements and does all it can to achieve or exceed them.
‘Across a year, we take members on shorter trips to places like Echuca and Mildura in Victoria, and Tocumwal and Merimbula in New South Wales. We also do longer tours including an annual one from Darwin to Uluru, then Melbourne. This year we did our longest trip yet – 13,000 kilometres over 24-days – Darwin, Mount Isa, Cairns and back to Melbourne.’
‘Victorian Touring Coaches will always assist us with itinerary planning if we require it, so we get the most value and enjoyment from our trips. Their drivers are experienced, friendly and really knowledgeable about the places we travel to. And the standard of the Victorian Touring Coaches vehicles is exceptional. They’re clean, modern and very comfortable.’
And for Mr Almeida, both cost and reliability are also very important.
‘Victorian Touring Coaches can always work within our budget. And as a company they are extremely reliable. With coach transport you want to know that they’ll arrive right on time and then get to each destination when they’re scheduled to – whether it’s a one day trip or every day for two weeks. Victorian Touring Coaches does – and that’s why this business relationship works so well.’
